Why are some people so concerned about “saving” girls from porn? Have these people seen porn? Personally, I think it is great that the porn industry is there, so they have somewhere to go. Not just for their sake, mind you, but for all of our sakes; every time some unbelievably stupid girl with a nice body goes to porn, the number of useless people on the “normal” job market is reduced. Tired of that dumb-ass receptionist who needs time to think if asked to perform any task other than smiling at people? If the gods of porn (a little known but very active pantheon) had done their job, she would be somewhere else, and you would both be better off. When you think about it, this industry is really performing a public service, akin to a kindergarten for the stupid, pretty people.

I do not think we are losing any would-be rocket scientists to this industry. Just a thought.

Tonight, I went to hang out with some friends in a nearby village, which turned out to be a good idea. First, we had some fun with a couple of small RC airplanes they’d bought. Small, cheap and lots of fun. Then we watched a couple of movies, at one of my friends’ place - always a good thing, since he’s got a fairly decent home theater system going, with a projector and surround sound.

300 might not be the best film ever made. I know this sounds dangerously close to blasphemy, but don’t gather the villagers and start handing out pitchforks and torches just yet; the might in that opening sentence is very important. However, this is the kind of movie made for men, and girly girls, as well as some girly men, might not appreciate the finer details of the movie.

This is without a doubt one of the best movies ever made. It doesn’t have too much in the way of plot, story or any of that shite, but GOD DAMN! Fast-paced action from beginning to end, lots of weird humour, people dying, shit blowing up… you get the picture. If you want feel-good violence, some good laughs and regular outbursts of the “Holy fucking shit!” kind, you need to see this movie.

Good and evil are terms that have existed in more or less every human civilisation, for obvious reasons; they are the absolutes at the ends of the moral scale. Most likely, every sentient species will develop the idea of good and evil as a consequence of observing behaviour. If anyone still reads this crap, there are news: The blog is not dead, but it’s more or less in a damn coma. Until I recover, which should be sometime this spring/summer, it will stay like that.

I’m also starting to develop a true hatred for bloggers; everyone and their grandmother has a blog these days (no shit - I’ve seen senior citizens around…), and I’m tired of idiots posting badly spelled posts about their meaningless lives. I am of course different, being both extremely smart and sexy as hell, but still… can’t wait for this fad to pass. This is almost as bad as the old days when every idiot had their own badly programmed website, filled with pictures of their dogs and lame animated gifs. God, I hate people.
